Javen Sears
Javen Sears is a seventh-generation Vermonter, young professional, and youth football coach whose family’s roots run deep in Vermont dating back to 1790 in St. Albans. He helps lead a local youth development organization that has impacted more than 3,000 young people through youth sports, instilling the values of teamwork, character, and perseverance while preparing them for success both on and off the field. As a lifelong Vermonter, Javen is committed to creating opportunities for the next generation and strengthening the communities that make Vermont home.
Javen attended South Burlington’s public schools from elementary school through high school, graduating from South Burlington High School in 2020. He began attending the University of Vermont in 2022, studying Business Administration and Management, and today works as an associate at a Burlington-based venture capital nonprofit, supporting entrepreneurs and Vermont’s growing innovation economy.
